你们好！欢迎来到广州工商学院联合科技学院，我是广州工商学院校长王日华，也是联合科技学院院长。

广州工商学院是一所国际化、应用型本科高校，学校立足广东的对外开放，扎实推进教育“在地国际化”，与众多国内外高水平大学建立了长期稳定的合作关系，为学生和家长提供良好的国际化教育资源。

广州工商学院与美国东北州立大学合作举办的联合科技学院是教育部批准设立的中外合作办学机构。联合科技学院博采两校教育的优势，融合两国教育教学理念，汇聚中美双方优质教育资源，把世界带到中国，让中国走向世界。联合科技学院采用“4+0”、“双学籍”、“双学位”、“本硕双offer”的人才培养模式，中美双方联合制定人才培养方案，设立了跨国教学科研平台，打造优质的双语学习环境，选派美国东北州立大学和具有海外学习工作的高水平教师任教。让同学们在中美文化的交流与融合中开拓视野、涵养人格、砥砺才学。

习近平总书记强调，“要扩大教育对外开放，优化教育开放全球布局，在此，我向同学们提出三点希望：

一是要志存高远、脚踏实地。要以崇高的理想信念为引领，求得真学问，练就真本领，做勇于担当的时代青年。

二是要热爱祖国。要把个人理想与祖国前途、民族命运联系起来，扎根中国大地。

三是要胸怀世界。秉承人类命运共同体理念，开拓国际视野，积极参与国际竞争。

同学们，广州工商学院将举全校之力为同学们的成长成才铺下阶梯，让我们从这里出发，走向全国，走向全球，走向未来。

Hello, my name is Steve Turner, President of Northeastern State University. I want to thank you for considering GCTB-NSU Joint Institute of Technology at Guangzhou College of Technology and Business as your higher education institution of choice. This is a truly fantastic opportunity to study with two globally respected education leaders.

Founded in 1846 by the Cherokee Nation, Northeastern State University is one of the leading universities in Oklahoma and one of the first universities in the United States recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education. Our foundation as a Native American institution of education provides us with a unique perspective allowing NSU to graduate more Native American students than any other institution in the nation.

We are proud of our continued success and are committed to creating the best possible experience for all of our students. Our university places a strong emphasis on international education and offers a variety of scholarships for international scholars each year.

By participating in the GCTB-NSU Joint Institute of Technology at Guangzhou College of Technology and Business, you will have the opportunity to earn bachelor’s degrees at NSU. It is with great honor that the Ministry of Education in China recognized our partnership as one of only two approved partnerships in the United States for 2022. This approval is a direct recognition of NSU’s high quality of education, investment in international education, and support from my administrative team.

It’s an incredibly exciting time to be a student at the GCTB-NSU Joint Institute of Technology.
