为满足国际社会对日益增长的中文教育类人才的需求，促进世界各国中文教育的发展，助力国际中文教育人才的成长，教育部中外语言交流合作中心（以下简称中心）设立国际中文教师奖学金（以下简称奖学金），聚焦培养合格的海外中文教师。孔子学院、独立设置的孔子课堂，部分中文考试考点，外国相关教育机构、高校中文师范专业/中文院系、国外有关中文教学行业组织、中国驻外使（领）馆等（以下简称推荐机构）可推荐优秀学生和在职中文教师到华侨大学学习和进修汉语国际教育及相关专业。

一、资助对象

1.非中国籍人士；

2.对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度；

3.身心健康，品学兼优；

4.有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作；

5.年龄为16-30周岁（统一以2026年9月1日计）。本科奖学金申请者一般不超过22周岁。

二、奖学金类别及申请条件

1.中国语言文学类（汉语国际教育专业）本科生

2026年9月入学，资助期限为4年。

具有高中学历；中文水平考试成绩达到 HSK（五级）180分、HSKK（中级）60 分。

2.一学年研修生（汉语研修方向）

2026年9月入学，资助期限为11个月。

汉语研修方向，中文水平考试成绩达到 HSK（三级）210 分，提供 HSKK 成绩者优先。

3.一学期研修生（国际中文教育方向）

2026年9月入学，资助期限为5个月。

国际中文教育方向，中文水平考试成绩达到 HSK（三级）180 分，具有 HSKK 成绩。

三、奖学金资助内容及标准

奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、生活费和综合医疗保险费。其中，本科生、一学年和一学期研修生生活费标准为 2500 元人民币/月。

四、办理流程

2026年3月1日起，申请者可登录中外语言交流合作中心网站（http://www.chinese.cn）国际中文教师奖学金版块申请国际中文教师奖学金。

1.登录网站（http://www.chinese.cn）注册账号，查询推荐机构。

2.填写申请表(接收院校选择“华侨大学”），并上传申请材料，点击“提交”。

3.返回查看申请信息，并关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果。

4.奖学金获得者与华侨大学确认办理来华留学手续；按华侨大学录取通知书规定的时间入学报到。

截止日期（以北京时间为准）：

2026年9 月入学：学生申请截止日期为5月15日，推荐机构、接收院校（华侨大学）审核截止日期为5月25日；

中心委托专家组集中评审：根据HSK、HSKK级别和考分，兼顾国别等因素择优资助，于入学前约3个月完成奖学金评审工作，发布评审结果。

五、奖学金申请材料清单

（一）与所有申请者有关的证明材料

1.护照照片页扫描件。

2.HSK、HSKK 成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件。

3.推荐机构负责人的推荐信。

（二）申请汉语国际教育本科专业需要的有关证明材料

1.提供高中毕业证书（毕业预期证明）和高中阶段成绩单。

2.来华留学本科入学学业水平测试（CSCA 测试）成绩单（科目：文科中文、数学）

（三）在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信（同等条件下优先录取）。

（四）在各类汉语桥比赛中获得“国际中文教师奖学金证书”者，登录国际中文教师奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向华侨大学提交申请材料。

（五）未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。

（六）近半年体检材料。

六、其他

1.一学期研修项目和一学年研修项目原则上不录取3年内享受过同类奖学金的申请者。

2.相关专业培养方案与教学课程，可咨询华侨大学。

3.申请者还须同时在华侨大学境外生网上报名系统（https://admissions.hqu.edu.cn/）提交申请资料。

4.本科生须参加年度评审，详见《国际中文教师奖学金年度评审办法》。

5.相关入学等事宜，请及时联系华侨大学。

6.入学体检不合格、中途退学及未经许可不按时报到、休学等情况，取消奖学金资格。

Application Guidelines for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship 2026，Huaqiao University

(Bachelor’s Degree Program and Chinese Language Study Program)

To address the growing international demand for Chinese language teachers, facilitate the global development of Chinese language education, and support the professional development of Chinese language teachers, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as“CLEC”) has established the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as “the Scholarship”) for eligible Chinese language teachers outside of China. Confucius Institutes, independent Confucius Classrooms, select HSK test centers, foreign educational institutions, Chinese language teacher training programs/Chinese departments at foreign universities, professional associations for Chinese language teaching, and Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Recommending Institutions”) may recommend outstanding students and in-service Chinese language teachers to pursue their studies in International Chinese Language Education and related programs at Huaqiao University.

I. ELIGIBILITY

All applicants must:

1. Be a non-Chinese citizen;

2. Maintain a friendly attitude toward China, have no criminal record, and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the rules and regulations of Huaqiao University;

3. Be in good physical and mental health, and demonstrate strong academicperformance and conduct;

4. Be committed to working in Chinese language education, teaching, and related fields;

5. Be between the ages of 16 and 30 (as of September 1, 2026). Applicants for undergraduate scholarships must generally be under the age of 22.

II. SCHOLARSHIP CATEGORIES AND APPLICATION CONDITIONS

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Language and Literature (International Chinese Language Education)

The program commences in September 2026, with a scholarship duration of up to four academic years.

Applicants must hold a senior high school diploma. Applicants must score at least 180 on the HSK (Level 5) and 60 on the HSKK (Intermediate Level).

2. One-Year Study Program (Chinese Language Study Program)

The program commences in September 2026, with a scholarship duration of up to 11 months.

Applicants must score at least 210 on the HSK (Level 3). Priority will be given to those who provide an HSKK score.

3.One-Semester Study Program (International Chinese Language Education)

The program commences in September 2026, with a scholarship duration of up to five months.

Applicants must score at least 180 on the HSK (Level 3) and possess an HSKK score.

III. Coverage and Standard for Scholarship

The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation fees, living allowance and comprehensive medical insurance. The standard rate for undergraduates, One-Year, and One-Semester students is RMB 2,500/month.

IV. APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Starting March 1, 2026, applicants may visit the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship section of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation website (http://www.chinese.cn).

a) Please log on（http://www.chinese.cn）to search for Recommending and Host Institutions.

b) Fill in the Application Form (select Huaqiao University as the Host Institution) and submit application materials online.

c) Track the application process, including review comments and final results.

d) Scholarship recipients must confirm enrollment procedures with Huaqiao University and register by the date stipulated in the Admission Letter.

Application Deadlines (Beijing Time)

September admission: Student applications close May 15; Recommending Institution and Huaqiao University reviews close May 25.

Centralized Review by Expert Panel: CLEC will commission an expert panel to conduct a centralized review. Funding decisions will be based on HSK and HSKK scores, while also considering geographical distribution and other factors. The review process will be completed, and results announced, approximately three months prior to enrollment.

V. List of Application Materials for the Scholarship

A. General Documents (Required for All Applicants)

a) Scanned copy of passport photo page;

b) Scanned copy of HSK and HSKK score reports (valid for two years);

c) Recommendation letter from the head of the Recommending Institution.

B. For Bachelor’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education

a) High school graduation certificate (or proof of expected graduation) and academic transcripts;

b) Score report of China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA) (Tests subject: Professional Chinese, Mathematics)

C. For In-service Chinese Language Teachers

In-service Chinese Language Teachers must attach proof of employment and a recommendation letter issued by their employer. These applicants will be given priority over equally qualified candidates.

D. For Chinese Bridge Winners

Applicants who have been awarded the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate in various Chinese Bridge competitions should log in to the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website and submit their application materials to Huaqiao University, along with their scholarship certificate.

E. Applicants under 18

Applicants under the age of 18 must submit entrusted guardianship documentssigned by a guardian in China.

F. Foreigner Physical Examination Record valid for six months .

VI. MISCELLANEOUS

1. Generally, the One-Semester Study Program and One-Year Study Program do not admit applicants who have received a similar scholarship within the past three years.

2. Please consult Huaqiao University regarding specific professional training plans and teaching curricula.

3. Applicants shall also submit the application through the online application website of Huaqiao University (https://admissions.hqu.edu.cn/).

4. Bachelor’ Degree program students are subject to an annual assessment. For details, please refer to the Measures for the Annual Assessment of the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship.

5. For enrollment-related inquiries, please contact Huaqiao University.

6. Scholarship eligibility will be revoked for students who fail the pre-enrollment medical examination, withdraw from school prematurely, fail to register on time without permission, or suspend their studies.
